A very emotional experience is difficult to dismiss as a neurochemical MISTAKE, because in its intensity it seems somehow SUPER-sincere and SUPER-genuine. It is psychologically hard to admit to yourself that what happened to you was a purely subjective, synthetically triggered introspection, which may or may not involve other people. YOUR synthetic experience will by definition be just YOUR OWN.
Through my years of turmoil and chaos I have become able to tell the difference between most genuine vs artificially induced states of AFFECT, EXCITEMENT and INSPIRATION. The same can be said for DESPAIR and the like, but those emotions usually come in the wake of everything else.
Unfortunately on occasion I am still caught off guard.
